Airports nationwide failed
March 17, 2006: According to a report from NBC News, "21
airports nationwide failed to detect bomb materials in tests by federal
investigators" The report further says "no machine, no swab, no screener
anywhere stopped the bomb materials from getting through." Materials of
these types on humans are undetectable by metal detectors. With first
units in customers' hands, Brijot Imaging Systems is beginning volume
shipments of the only suicide bomb and weapons detection system that can
be used to detect these types of materials on a person anywhere a video
camera or metal detector can be used. Demonstrations are being made
available by Brijot at Reed Expo's International Security Conference:
ISC West, April 5, 6, 7, Sands Convention Center, Las Vegas. The NBC
report further states Detecting explosive materials and IEDs at [airport
checkpoints] is the TSA's top priority.
